Barbarian is a fighting game that was developed by Palace Software and published by Epyx for personal computers in 1987.
In 2018, Retro Games acquired the rights to the Epix brand and intellectual property. They commissioned Team Oceo to port Barbarian to the Dreamcast, with both the original graphics and new, improved graphics.
Retro Games also plans to release the game for the Nintendo Entertainment System, Atari Jaguar and Sega Genesis.
